Linking Indigenous Australians to community support services

17 October 2012

From July this year, the Australian Government will invest $42 million over three years for Indigenous Community Links (formerly known as Community Support Service) to support Indigenous community members and their families living in urban and regional areas.  Indigenous Community Links provides a culturally acceptable and readily accessible place for Indigenous people to access information about and referrals to mainstream and Indigenous services.  65 service providers will continue to deliver support through a network of 88 service sites nationally, covering more than 140 communities.
