The Disaster Recovery Payment is available to people who have been adversely affected
The Australian Government Disaster Recovery Payment (AGDRP) is available to those people who have been adversely affected by the Victorian bushfires that started during the period 29 January 2009 to February 2009 and continued in February 2009.
The AGDRP provides $1,000 per eligible adult and $400 per child. Claims for this assistance can be lodged with Centrelink until 7 August 2009.
